Having invested a great deal of time in multiple takes – and finally getting one just right – it can be extremely frustrating to realise that there’s an air conditioning unit, fan, or some other irritating noise detracting from the quality of your audio.
There are a number of very effective noise removal and restoration plugins available and, while results vary greatly depending on the severity of the troublesome noise, it can be possible to ‘rescue’ even severely damaged recordings.
